These are elegant hand carved art wood chess game sets.
This one comes as one unit including the folding 3 inch deep wooden storage box to hold all the beautiful pieces and the playing board that opens to 12 inches square. All pieces are hand carved by Ecuadorian artisans of polished hardwood and have a red protective bottom to protect the chess board. The dark pieces are stained while the light pieces are natural wood. The Kings are 4 inches tall; the Queens are 3 1/2 inches tall; the Bishops are 3 inches tall; the Knights are 2 1/2 inches tall; the Rooks are 2 inches tall; and the Pawns are 1 3/4 inches tall.
